As 2009 comes to a close, it is with excitement that I welcome 2010. May this be the year of action, let 2010 be the year that we live the words of Shakespeare, “Action is Eloquence”. The Real Estate Market across the country is seeing an uptick, and locally here in Homer Alaska, the market is strong. The Homer Residential Market boasts a 6% rise in the average sale price for the year. Not BAD!! Not to mention that more homes sold in 2009 than in 2008. IF you couple that with the great low mortgage rates and the tax incentives for first time home buyers and move over buyers…..you will see this really is the Perfect Storm of Opportunity.
